The 8 Like Bridge

Share
OK, I must admit this still looks a bit confusing to me.

In China (main lands), drivers are on the left side of the car, and hence they drive their cars on the right of the road.
The opposite is in Hong Kong, where they still follow the British system.

This had to be taken into consideration when the government wanted to build a bridge between the China and Hong Kong.
even if you make it a two way road traffic it will still be confusing for drivers.

Thus an 8 like bridge was invented by a dutch company.

Drivers will drive half way the bridge the same way they drive in their cities, then they can slowly adapt to the driving way in the new destination.

World Cup Reactions

Share
Still in the world cup mood?
A lot people were reliefed after that the world cup noise is over.
Yet, really, it is a noise that we will miss for the next four years.

As I mentioned in previous posts, what was remarkable about this world cup, besides having it in Africa, is its audience.

I did show an unusual TV floating on a river in Germany showing world cup matches in the

"River Football (Soccor) TV"

And I showed some odd Arab fashion for world cup in "Latest Fashion for World Cup 2010"

In the "World Cup Mania" post I showed some pictures of the world cup audience.

Here are some more pictures of the Audience caught with different reactions, especially when they're screaming or opening there mouths! (gotta watch for bird poop)

Metal Art

Share
I'm still in the Art mood.

Yesterday, I posted pictures of some guy showing his talent on the beach (click here to check it out).

Today, I stumbled upon some artistic metal pieces.

They remind me of the old ages.

Check them out, see what they remind you of:
