Fatal Creatures

Share
Summer is coming! and despite the world financial crisis, rumor has it that you'll be traveling this summer!

If you're planning to enjoy the beach or nature in a foreign country, you might want to watch out to dangerous creatures that live there.

Here are examples of what you might just bump into:

1) The Conus, or what is so called the Cone Snail:

Be careful, this is not just like any snail that you know, people collecting colorful sea shells can easily mistake this and run into a crawling agony!

The cone snail stings you with its spear causing its neurotoxins to flow into your blood, which can kill you in 4 minutes!

Here is a video of how the Conus, or cone snail, functions:

Scary ha? So watch out!

2) The Poison Arrow Frog (poison dart frog)

Looks like a natural jewel! so colorful, and so attractive, and sometimes, so tiny.
But don't even come close to it!
You only need to touch it to get its deadly poison under your skin, and it gets there fast!

That's what they cal the "Lethal touch"
Try to be far from colored shiny frogs, they can jump to up to 2 inches.

3)The Lonomia caterpillar

They call it "The lazy clown of the insect world" , and why? i don't know! it is supposed to grow into a moth, but as a caterpillar, it has tiny but fuzzy hair , if it touches your skin, it will inject stuff that will cause your blood to break, and of course. cause you death!
Even in pictures it looks spooky! don't mistake these tiny hairs into dry leaves.

4)Sea snakes

even land snakes are scary enough, but sea snakes are even more poisonous! in my opinion, the advantage these snakes have, is that they're hard to spot!

 5) Box Jellyfish

if you go to Australia, you'll   run into this deadly sea creature!
Just make sure you avoid its tentacles, the younger you are, that faster you die, a very painful death.

Enjoy your vacation :)

A Flying Fish!

Share
I never thought that such a creature actually existed!

The minute this baby feels danger under water, it flies above the water, until it's either far safe from danger, or out of oxygen, it dives back in.

Now, under water, it's a normal fish, above the waters it looks like a bird to me.

Here are some images of this amazing FISH:

Odd Taxis

Share
I will not wave for any of these cabs if I see them on the street!
Personally I think that such cars will loose value if put into the public transportation service.

Just for comparison

A Maybach !!!

A Humvey !!!

you won't see that on the streets!

One of my favorites, the Corvette

A cute Porsche Cayene

I will not fit in one of these :)

This will be fun to ride!

Who can resist a Lumbo!

God bless the Beetle, letterly, the people's wagon!

A Robot for SHAWARMA, Doner, Shawerma

Share
isn't this cool or what??

I sometimes felt pitty for the poor man cutting the roasted edges of Shawerma (or donner Kebab as some people call it), all that sweat, and the time he had to stand opposite to the heat!

This new invention might be his relief! and it comes with a remote control too :)

Have a "Commercial" Break

I love advertisements, and the sweet ideas behind them.

Today, I'm going to show you just a few, and the idea is competition, see how advertisements can carry such an idea:

Check the two ads below for Nikon, it says "our cameras have face detection, even if it is a face of a ghost, a skeleton...etc."

Yet check this ad by Panasonic, it kind of says "our cameras have face detection, even if you can't see the face!"

Coca Cola hanged a sign saying that its sales office is in the second floor of the building, a few days later PEPSI  hanged a board just under it:

Coca Cola replied with the following ad:

And finally, see how these three ads that show how car makers hit each other in an ad boxing match:

and Audi's answer was:
and Subaru concluded it:

Loved it :)

Five Stars Grave

Share
Don't get me wrong, I respect every body's belief no matter what, and of course I believe in the freedom of Choice.

I don't know where this is, or what religion these people are following, but isn't this kind of exaggerated?!

The Diseased "Lady" asked in her will to be buried in a 5 star grave containing an LCD TV in a luxurious bed room, with her full shoe collection, her make up, and even the obviously needed alcohol!
She didn't even skip the booze!

Let's just hope it was worth it! Check out the Photoes, and you do the commenting:

Rhymes class

A grade 5 teacher one day asked the children in her class to make rhymes with their names.

First up was Dan.

'My name is Dan,
When I grow up to be a man,
I want to go to India and Japan ,
If I can, If I can, If I can. '

'Very good', the teacher said to Dan.

She then asked Sally that it was now her turn.

'My name is Sally,
When I grow up to be a lady,
I want to have a baby,
If I can, if I can, if I can.'

'That is good Sally,' the teacher said. 'But maybe one day you will change your mind.'

Next up was Little Johnny. He was the naughty one in the class. Here is his rhyme:

'My name is Johnny,
When I grow up to be a man,
Never mind India and Japan ,
I'm going to help Sally with her plan,
I know I can, I can, I can.'

Breathing therapy

I received this from a friend, I believe it deserves a try. I'm still waiting for "Smile Therapy":

The nose has a left and a right side; we use both to inhale and exhale.

Actually they are different; you would be able to feel the difference.
The right side represents the sun, left side represents the moon.
During a headache, try to close your right nose and use your left nose to breathe.

In about 5 mins, your headache will be gone? If you feel tired, just reverse, close your left nose and breathe through your right nose.
After a while, you will feel your mind is refreshed.

Right side belongs to 'hot', so it gets heated up easily, left side belongs to 'cold'.

Most females breathe with their left noses, so they get "cooled off" faster.

Most of the guys breathe with their right noses, they get worked up.

Do you notice the moment we wake up, which side breathes faster? Left or right? ?

If left is faster, you will feel tired.
So, close your left nose and use your right nose for breathing, you will get refreshed quickly.

This can be taught to kids, but it is more effective when practiced by adults.

My friend used to have bad headaches and was always visiting the doctor.

There was this period when he suffered headache literally every night, unable to study.

He took painkillers, did not work.

He decided to try out the breathing therapy here: closed his right nose and breathed through his left nose.

In less than a week, his headaches were gone! He continued the exercise for one month.

This alternative natural therapy without medication is something that he has experienced.

So, why not give it a try?
