Winter in Amman!

Winter is always cold in Amman.
There are always chances for showers, snow, and of course some dry and sunny days.

4 days ago the weather gone mad or something!

It was rainy for two days, and not just rainy! the amount of rain poured on Amman (and the rest of Jordan) was enormous, it actually flooded the streets of Amman!
The drainage on the streets couldn't handle it.
Roads were blocked, tunnels were shut down, and was really much better to just stay at home, or Not!
Houses down some valleys were actually drowned, and their inhabitants had to leave!

Two days after, that's today and tomorrow, Snow came.
Every body thought it will melt due to the amount of water on the streets,  but the amount of snow was also enormous, it actually piled every where.

But all these special conditions were not the only special thing to see during this winter.
It was the sense of humor that was triggered by these conditions, especially the rain.

I compiled some of the pictures that were shared on social media (I can't compile them all, they are too many of course):

This is not Photoshop, this is a true image from one of the universities, students used desks and benches to move around and avoid the flood!

OK, this one is Photoshopped!
it says "Breaking news: crocodiles showing up in Amman City!"

Another Photoshopped image showing how public transportation turned into boats!

More from the university.

From the tunnels, people thought the Amman turned into a new Venice.

Even the PSY's Gangnam style was an inspiration! :-D
In the picture it says "Oppa Flood Style" !

Now it's the snow's turn, the building in the picture is the famous Le-Royal Hotel in Amman.

And finally, someone from a neighboring country, who didn't have snow, yet they have a lot of sand and desert there, he sent this picture of a "Sand Man" , who is claimed to look better than a snow man :-D

I'll be sure to share more if I find some more worthy pictures.
