A Thousand Words

Share
You probably heard this a million times
"A Picture is worth a thousand word"
Telling you how a picture can amazingly describe stuff.

A Calligrapher from Jordan called "Jalal Amin" letterly created pictures using thousands of words.
He was best in making portraits of famous people using their names.
His first picture was for the mother, he created a portrait as a tribute to mother using the word "Um" (which is mother in Arabic):

Then he made some awesome photos for Saudi monarchs using their names:

King Abdullah Bin AbdulAziz

King AbdulAziz (The Founder of the Saudi Monarchy).

King Faisal Bin AbdulAziz

and I'm still digging for more of Mr. Amin's art work. makes me want  a portrait of my self made from my name.

This reminds me with one of our previous posts:

The Best Morning Coffee

Share
Nothing is more essential than a cup of coffee in the morning!
Actually, it's hard to make it through the day without my regular charge of caffeine.

But it would be better if we add a little smile to it, check the image below :)

Don't Re-use water bottles

Share
I got this warning many times, and I need your comments about it, especially if you have proof that it is not true.
Read the information in the bottle below first:

Add to that the following:

How to avoid:

Check on the bottom of the bottle there is a triangle sign (means recycling value) and there will  be a number on it.

If the number is higher than or equal to 5 --> then this bottle is safe to use.

Whatever number under 5, will release the chemical.
For most water bottles, the number is 1. DO NOT Use it.

Did you know chemical released by plastic water bottles can cause cancer
(It is not the water that affecting you but the chemical releasing from the bottle)

I need your comments on that.

Wedding Invitation

Share
These are pictures of a wedding invitation card that I got through my email.
The invitations are for a royal wedding in one of the gulf countries, and trust me, if you want to invite people using the same cards, you might want to consider a loan!

Check this out, that thing on the left is a perfume bottle made of crystal!
Here you go, close enough!
And of course, a magnetic Entry card, you don't want the wrong people in your lavish wedding!

Chinese English

Share
I'm sorry for not blogging for some time now, but I was on a vacation in Jordan for a few days.
Well I'm back now, we'll have lots of fun as we did in the past posts.

now, I know I wrote about Chinese children which sounded annoying to some of you at that time.
Here is a more cheerful Chinese subject.

I heard how much english teachers are welcome to china, they can even find families to host them there, and shall have to pay for nothing!
All that and more, and it is just to help the people of china to practice english.
After viewing these pictures, I found out why :)
